BC Seagull - Programs
Plan and Program
The plan and program are designed to be flexible enough to adapt to the age, natural oscillations, and work capacity of all athletes in the club, the weekly micro cycle within the Mini Basket school, as well as four to five times a week for the older selections. In creating our work plan and program, we have taken into account all the laws of sports training (for the given age group), the specificities of the sport, principles and methods of work, expertise, creativity, and knowledge of the coaches, as well as the geographical location, climate, and other natural resources that will enable us to work more efficiently.
MINI basket
Ages 6 to 8 years
Basketball at this age is adapted to the children's category. The game has its own rules and principles that are different from older categories. The guiding principle at this age is:
"You play to learn," not "you learn to play"!
Through our program, children will develop a wide range of motor abilities and skills, and learn the basic basketball movements in a fun way.
It is very important to understand that the primary goal is not winning, but to have fun playing basketball. Learning basic sports and basketball skills will build a foundation that will enable children to fully develop their physical potential in the coming years.
YOUNGER PIONEERS
Ages 9 to 11 years
The main goal at this level is to learn basic movements and basketball skills in a fun way. To instill a love for basketball, children need tangible examples. Through our work program, children will be able to develop and improve the fundamentals of the game they acquired in the MINI BASKET program.
The focus will be on individual technique and athleticism. We will provide children with the opportunity to learn new working methods and acquire new knowledge and skills from demonstrators. In our program, it is important to enable children to have proper psycho-physical and social development, improve motor abilities, and strengthen their competitive spirit. Working with children is organized in a way that allows each child to express their talent, socialize with peers, and compete.

We encourage the development of sports ethics and fair play during training and competition. Players in this group reach a period where conditions for the development of speed, acceleration, explosive strength, and coordination are created.

ATHLETICS PROGRAM
Working in the field of athletics, basics of sports (running techniques, jumping, proper breathing, shaping exercises, etc.), is a novelty in our club's offer. This program will be adapted to all children who want to join and learn the basics of proper running, jumping techniques, shaping exercises, stretching, etc. Unlike basketball training, this part of the activities will take place in nature.
All boys and girls aged 9 to 12 are welcome.
